These hand thrown mini raku jars are fired using the raku method of firing clay in an outdoor kiln. Red hot, the jar is pulled from the kiln and placed into a pit with wood shavings. The intense heat ignites a blaze, giving each jar colors of vivid deep pinks, blues and violets reminiscent of a brilliant sunset. They are each adorned with a unique lid with a twig handle wrapped in copper wire and assorted gemstones. Each beautiful and unique jar will include a paper scroll rolled up inside for writing down your dreams. No two jars are alike. Comes in gift box with excelsior. 3" tall.
